In this episode, Dave  sits down with Kellyann Day, CEO of New Reach, a nonprofit organization based in New Haven and Bridgeport dedicated to helping individuals and families overcome housing insecurity. Kellyann shares how New Reach provides stability and hope to people facing homelessness or at risk of losing their homes—offering more than just shelter, but a pathway toward independence. She discusses the challenges of affordable housing, the impact of community partnerships, and the importance of addressing the root causes of poverty. Through real stories and practical insight, this conversation sheds light on how compassion and structure can transform lives and neighborhoods. It’s an inspiring look at how one organization is redefining what it means to give people a place to call home.
